It’s been a blast watching the trailers go out and seeing our first DVD pre-orders come in, but nothing compares to seeing a film on the big screen for the first time. Join me at theBicycle Film Festivalin New York on July 1st for the premiere ofLINE OF SIGHT!
The Bicycle Film Festival has had a major influence on my adventures in filming races. From the first short films I showed at the festival back in 2003, I’ve known it’s the best audience in the world. Over the years I’ve followed the festival around the world and I’m always amazed at the energetic crowds it pulls in. The films, the parties, the art, there’s really nothing else like it. Brendt Barbur, BFF’s founder, has been indispensable in my development. He’s inspired film makers to change the world and all of us to ride more.
The BFF runs from June 28th to July 1st, and you’re not going to want to miss a minute of it. In addition toLINE OF SIGHT, they’ll be premiering SHAY ELLIOT: CYCLE OF BETRAYAL, about Ireland’s first professional cyclist. There will also be a whole bunch of short films, and an epic street party on the 30th. For all the details and tickets, check out their website:Bicycle Film Festival and while you’re at it,like them on Facebook for updates.
I’ll see you there!
